Templates

Free sealed-document templates, sized for a P.Eng or OAA seal.

Word templates matching Ontario conventions for the sealed narrative documents an engineering firm produces. Structural FRR is live and downloadable now. The rest release in three tiers below - what is live today, what Fermito can build as a firm-specific template pack in 2-4 weeks, and what is next on the roadmap.

Samples

Request a complete sample.

A Fermito person sends a finished sample directly so it lands clean in Word, alongside a short reply on the firm's actual category mix. Replies come back inside one business day.

On the roadmap

Next directions.

Committed expansions we are building next. Join the waitlist for any of these and we will update you as each lands.

  • More short-form sealed letters

    On the roadmap

Feasibility opinions for wall removal and structural modifications, hydro vault reviews (O. Reg. 22/04), preliminary and detailed existing-building assessments. Same sealed-letter shape as the three ready-on-request letters; releases in order of demand.

    Cross-doc - sealed letter

  • Architectural General Review

    On the roadmap

Opportunistic, not an active Fermito product push. Built on the same FRR workflow when an architectural firm asks; Fermito does not self-initiate OAA-signed templates until a customer pulls it.

    OBC 1.2.2.2 - OAA Practice Tip PT.37

  • Reserve Fund Study

    On the roadmap

Deferred to 2027 unless a specific RFS-heavy firm signs up. Full Condo Act s.94 RFS needs a component-inventory data model, 30-year cashflow engine, and multi-file deliverable; it is real work, not a template swap, and sits behind the daily-habit doc types.

    Condo Act s.94 - deferred to 2027

  • Building Condition Assessment

    On the roadmap

CSA S478 condition assessment with element-by-element rating and capital-reserve projection. Shares the component-inventory primitive with the RFS build.

CSA S478 - CMHC BCA Standard

First in line when each template drops.

One email per release. Structural is live now. Other disciplines follow once each passes the same review pass.

Required unless marked optional

One email per release. No cross-promotion, no re-selling.

Every template ships as a Word (.docx) file, styled for a P.Eng or OAA seal, with placeholder sections matching the structure Fermito produces out of the box. Use them as-is or fork them into a firm-specific house format.

For firms already running Fermito, your house template is tuned once during onboarding and every report comes out in that format - no manual reformatting.
